Tea and Citrus Production in the Soviet Republic of Georgia

Abstract

Due the unique climatic advantages the Georgian Soviet Republic today is the main producer of tea and citrus for internal soviet trade. The author describes state and perspectives of tea and citrus production including finishing industry of tea in relation to the climatic, geographical and economic problems in this subtropical border area.
