The climatic influence on the nutritive value of the natural vegetation in North-East Mexico

Abstract

Mit Hilfe einer Hauptkomponentanalyse wurde der Einfluß bestimmter Umweltfaktoren auf den Nährwert des Pflanzenmaterials im Nord-Osten Mexikos ermittelt. Drei Hauptkomponenten ,,Feuchtigkeit,,, „Trockenheit“,  und „kurzfristige Feuchtigkeit", die 91% der klimatischen Variation erklären, wurden ermittelt. „Feuchtigkeit“ ist negativ (P < 0,05) mit der ADF-Fraktion und dem Gehalt an Cellulose korreliert. „Trockenheit“ weist eine negative Korrelation
(P < 0,05) mit der Verdaulichkeit der Trockensubstanz und mit dem Gehalt an Rohasche auf. Der Fettgehalt ist positiv mit „Trockenheit“ korreliert (P < 0,01). „Kurzfristige Feuchtigkeit" weist eine negative Beziehung zum Gehalt an Rohfaser auf (P < 0,01).

Summary

The influence of certain environmental factors on the nutritive value of the plant material in North-East Mexico was studied with the help of a main component analysis. Three main components: "moisture", "drought" and "short-term moisture", which explain 91% of the climatic variation, were studied. "Moisture" is negative (P < 0,05) correlated with the ADF-fraction and the content of cellulose. "Drought" shows a negative correlation (P < 0,05) with the drymatter digestibility and with the content of crude ash. The fat content ist positive correlated (P < 0,01) with "drought". "Shortterm moisture" is negative correlated (P < 0,01) to crude fibre content.
