The Integration of Animal Breeding and Animal Husbandry with Sustainable, Locationally and Environmentally Compatible Tropical Agriculture

Abstract

Sustainable integration of animal production into agricultural enterprises has four prerequisites: The recognition of plant production as a priority in enterprises, specialisaion of exploitation and profile of performance should be at the level of enterpnses feed production, animal husbandry should be principally prfitable and environmentally sound. Intensity of animal exploitation, potentials of performance and breeding intentions and measures are to be subordinate to these premises of useful interaction between animal and plant production of enterprises. Management and marketing conditions also influence the development of symbiotic effects of integrated animal and plant production of tropical agriculture enterprises.
